Editing, Critique and
Rewriting Help
Bill MacWithey offers writers not only editing
service, but a virtual chapter
by chapter
writing course.
He will edit your book, or he will rewrite and
put it in camera ready copy for you. The most significant service he
offers is teaching you to write, chapter by chapter and does it in a most unique
way.
 | Editing and camera ready preparation (or proper manuscript format) is an
economical $1.50 per page, with a minimum of 200 pages. Doing a complete
rewrite, (Ghost writing) is $3.00 per page. The writing course costs $2.00
per page. |
His Learn to Write Well course uses a
different technique, which you will find nowhere else. Here is how it
works:
| You send the first chapter of your story, along with your check for the
first chapter. |
| Bill will read and make notes on your copy as to changes needed. |
| He has created a code to show you what you need to do with a
sentence. This code is sent back to you with the return of your first
chapter. What does the code entail? How does it work? On
the list of codes, you will find a sample passive sentence, that is
rewritten as an active sentence. Where you have a passive sentence, it
will be marked with this code. Referring to the code sheets, you will
see the example of how to change the passive sentence to active by rewriting
it. Each writing error will be coded on your manuscript, so it makes
it easy to see what needs work. |
| Bill will rewrite the first page of the chapter, without changing the
story, but to make it more active and more readable. You can use it as
a guideline to rewrite the first chapter. You will receive a sheet
printed large enough to place within easy sight, containing the problems you
need to correct as you write. This way, you do not have to try to
remember, "What did he say about this?" |
| You will receive not only your marked-up chapter by return mail, but an
overall critique of your story and writing. |
| There are many unique aspects to this writing course, but one of them is
that you may rewrite your first chapter and return it, or you may rewrite
the first and second chapters and send the second for editing and
critiquing. As you continue through your story, you can always go back
and rewrite as you learn. Writing well is a matter of remembering what
to watch for as you write. |
| When you have paid a total of $60.00, you will receive Everything

when that chapter

| Once you have rewritten your book, we will either place your book on our
site for sale, if you like. Or, if you so choose, we will be happy to
place an excerpt on our site, along with a picture of your book cover.

book for sale, or all of the above. |
